Hexaemeron (von griechisch αΌ•ΞΎ hΓ©x β€šsechsβ€˜ und ἑμέρα hΔ“mΓ©ra β€šTagβ€˜) ist eine Bezeichnung fΓΌr die sechs SchΓΆpfungstage der Genesis (Gen 1,1–2,4 ) oder fΓΌr eine Abhandlung darΓΌber.

Derartige Abhandlungen bieten theologische ErklΓ€rungen und bieten oftmals AufschlΓΌsse ΓΌber zeitgenΓΆssische Kosmologie, Naturauffassung und Weltbilder. So ist fΓΌr das Hexaemeron des Bonaventura (1273) die Einbeziehung des heliozentrischen Weltbildes signifikant.
